Intellectual Property Policy

Last updated: April 1, 2026

This Intellectual Property Policy outlines the ownership, permitted use, and restrictions relating to all intellectual property associated with the services, content, and software provided by Domain through domain.info. By accessing or using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All content available on the Domain platform, including but not limited to course materials, lesson text, instructional videos, audio recordings, graphics, user interface designs, data visualizations, software tools, financial analysis frameworks, worksheets, assessments, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of Domain or its licensed content contributors.

This content is protected under applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret protections. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

2. Trademarks and Service Marks

The name "Domain," the Domain logo, and all related product names, service names, slogans, and visual identities used in connection with the platform are trademarks or service marks of Domain. These marks may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not provided by Domain, nor in any manner likely to cause confusion, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Domain.

Third-party trademarks appearing on the platform are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Such use does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

3. Software and Technology

The software, algorithms, code, scripts, application programming interfaces, databases, and technical infrastructure underlying the Domain platform constitute proprietary technology owned by Domain. This technology is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, create derivative works from, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the platform's software or technology, except where expressly permitted by applicable law that cannot be waived by contract.

4. Licence to Use Platform Content

Subject to your compliance with these terms and any applicable subscription or enrolment agreement, Domain grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use platform content solely for your own personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

4.1 Permitted Uses

Under the licence described above, you may:

Personal study: Access and review course materials for your own learning.

Downloads where enabled: Download materials only where an explicit download option is made available by the platform.

Note-taking: Reproduce limited excerpts for the purpose of personal notes and study aids, provided such copies are not shared or distributed.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not, without prior written consent from Domain:

Reproduce or distribute: Copy, republish, upload, post, transmit, or otherwise distribute any platform content to third parties.

Commercial exploitation: Use any platform content for commercial purposes, including resale, licensing to others, or incorporation into paid products or services.

Derivative works: Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on platform content.

Screen recording: Record, capture, or mirror video lessons or interactive tools through any means.

Systematic extraction: Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform for any purpose.

5. User-Submitted Content

Where the platform permits you to submit, post, or share content — including discussion contributions, assignment submissions, forum posts, or feedback — you retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in that content.

By submitting content to the platform, you grant Domain a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, and display such content solely for the purposes of operating and improving the platform. This licence does not permit Domain to sell your submitted content to third parties.

You represent and warrant that any content you submit does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and that you hold all necessary rights to grant the licence described above.

6. Third-Party Content and Integrations

Certain portions of the platform may incorporate third-party content, open-source software, data feeds, or tools licensed to Domain. Such third-party materials are subject to their respective licence terms. Domain makes no representation that third-party materials are free of third-party intellectual property claims.

Where the platform integrates with or links to third-party financial analysis tools or external software, those tools are governed by the terms and intellectual property policies of their respective owners. Domain does not claim ownership over third-party tools accessed through or alongside the platform.

7. Open-Source Components

The platform may include open-source software components. Where applicable, the relevant open-source licences govern your use of those components. In the event of any conflict between open-source licence terms and this policy, the applicable open-source licence shall prevail with respect to the specific open-source component.

11. No Implied Licences

Nothing in this policy or on the platform should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any licence or right to use any intellectual property of Domain beyond what is expressly stated herein. Any use of Domain's intellectual property not expressly permitted by this policy is strictly prohibited.

12. Modifications to This Policy
